Before Fairway Hills had its mysteries, before Jason Fairways emerged from the lake, and before the legends of Hole 13 began to take shape, Birdie the 13th existed as a series of social media experiments.
Created in 2023, these early concepts explored the unlikely collision of golf culture and horror imagery through a collection of digital illustrations, graphics and visual ideas shared on Instagram. While they don't necessarily fit within the mythology and visual language that now defines Birdie the 13th, they represent an important part of the project's evolution.
Think of this as the archive — a look back at where the idea started before the world of Fairway Hills Golf Club fully emerged from the fog.
